Kedmor Engineers are proud to share the design of this new precast prestressed bridge near Maale Adumim. The innovative structure spans Route 1 and is a testament to our commitment to engineering excellence.
The bridge features a pre-stressed 160 cm high channel section beam and a 25 cm thick slab cast in situ. With a total length of approximately 80m, divided into 3 spans, with a maximum span of 35m long. The bridge’s width is about 14m, which includes a 4m wide lane, to allow for future expansion.
To accommodate the bridge’s 15-degree skew angle, we designed circular piers, with a diameter of approximately 100 cm. This design ensures stability and durability even under the heaviest loads.
This project demonstrates our ability to deliver complex infrastructure solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and safety. We are excited to see this bridge serve as a vital connection for years to come.
The bridge was modelled in a BIM environment using Autodesk Revit, and analysed it using SOFiSTiK ME advanced finite element analysis software for design optimisation.
