We're thrilled to share that Kedmor Engineers has designed this new bridge as part of the East West Road project. Spanning 315 meters, this 18-meter-wide structure will be a vital link in the region.

Constructed with 12 internal spans and two end-spans, the bridge deck is a robust combination of 5 precast concrete trapezoidal U beams and a cast-in-place concrete topping. This is just one of five bridges we've designed for the 15km new road project in Nigeria.

A numerical model was built using Sofistik advanced finite element analysis software to optimize the design, and provide an efficient and sustainable structure.

Check out photos of the bridge piers and foundations currently under construction.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
