Structural design of a 32-storey residential tower, with a two-storey basement car park.

The structure was formed in reinforced concrete, implementing flat-slab construction in the residential areas to achieve a flat soffit. A transfer deck was required between the residential and car park areas to maximise the number of parking spaces and was founded on a piled raft.

The slab was optimised to a thin depth, to allow additional stories to be built within the approved height of the building. The feature cantilever roof structure was formed of tapered reinforced concrete beams with architectural cladding.

The plan geometry and high-rise aspect of the building lead to a complex stability system, primarily of RC shear walls to resist wind and seismic forces.
