Structural design of an above-ground train station, as part of the new Tel-Aviv Light-Rail’s Green Line. The structure encompasses the proposed Yarkon River bridge, also designed by Kedmor, enabling passengers to alight at the 1st floor platform level.
The design allows for a concealed reinforced concrete structure to support the platform and provide lateral stability, coupled with an architecturally expressed feature light-weight steel framed façade and roof structure.
The BIM model was linked to Sofistik finite element analysis software to aid the design work flow, facilitating an optimised and efficient design.
