Structural design of three, 18-storey residential towers with below-ground parking and a shared landscaped podium at ground level.
The development is a reinforced concrete frame, utilising slim-line flat-slab construction. We were able to mitigate the need for costly piled foundations by proposing a deep ground-bearing raft solution.
The stability of the towers against wind and seismic forces was achieved using a series of reinforced concrete shear walls. These were strategically located to avoid the perception of sway for the residents in the upper floors.
